Copyright & Takedown Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

1. Overview

UptoCode respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how copyright owners can notify us of material they believe infringes their rights, how we respond, and our policy of terminating accounts of repeat infringers. It applies to content that users upload to the platform.

2. User responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring they hold the necessary rights and licences for any content they upload. Uploading standards, codes, or other documents in breach of the licence terms under which they were supplied, or that you are not otherwise permitted to upload, is prohibited under our Terms of Service.

3. Submitting a notice of infringement

If you are a copyright owner (or authorised to act for one) and believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated contact below that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it;
  • your contact details (name, address, telephone, and email);
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on its behalf.

4. Designated contact for notices

Send copyright notices to our designated contact:

Copyright Agent, UptoCode Inc.
Email: copyright@uptocode.ai

5. How we respond

On receiving a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material in question and will take reasonable steps to notify the user who uploaded it. We may also request further information where a notice is incomplete.

6. Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error or that you have the right to use it, you may send a counter-notification to the contact above that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
  • your name, address, and telephone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the State of Delaware, United States.

7. Repeat-infringer policy

We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also track and act on valid infringement notices received against a user's account.

8. International notices

While the procedure above follows the structure of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we respond to valid notices of alleged infringement under applicable law, including in Australia and New Zealand. Please use the same designated contact.
